Copyright Policy
The UKM Press publishes the printed edition of SINERGI, which is subject to copyright laws. Authors need to ensure that their manuscripts do not violate any copyright laws. Authors must review their work for any possible breaches of copyright law, such as using quotations, artwork, or tables extracted from other publications or freely available sources on the internet, and obtain the necessary permissions before submitting their work to SINERGI.
Post Publication
The publisher, UKM Press, holds the copyright to all articles published in SINERGI. Once an article has been accepted for publication, the author(s) must submit the SINERGI Copyright Permission form to the Chief Executive Editor. SINERGI authors must seek permission from the publisher before publishing their article or any part elsewhere, such as a book chapter or translation.
A printed subscription and postal order of each SINERGI volume are subject to future editorial decisions. Due to production costs and environmental concerns, we no longer distribute hardcopy printed versions of the journal for free.
The UKM Press is responsible for both the online and printed versions of SINERGI on behalf of the Research Center of Research in History, Politics & International Affairs (SPHEA), Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH), The National University of Malaysia/Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), and Malaysian Armed Forces and Defence College (MAFDC). The editors will ensure the journal content is digitally preserved and accessible through the online Journal Depository (Archive). If you republish any work initially published in SINERGI, kindly provide an acknowledgement (appropriate citation means) to accompany it.
