SINERGI operates a range of self-archiving policies, allowing authors to make a version of their article available on their websites, through their institutions and/or in various subject-based repositories.

For online articles published under an Open Access licence (OA journal), articles can be made available immediately according to the terms of their specific Creative Common licence. If you have published an article under an Open Access licence, we encourage you to share the Version of Record on publication instead of the Accepted Manuscript.

If requested by the author(s) and subject to further negotiations with Editor-in-Chief, SINERGI may provide 12 months for accepted embargo periods for self-archiving Accepted Manuscripts, after which the Accepted Manuscript can be made available in the open-access repository. Embargo periods will only be considered and given after copyright and legal consideration of classified primary data included in any part of the accepted manuscript and subject to further ethical considerations and advised of the UKM Press and a decision by the Editor-in-Chief.
